What’s unique about our school?
The Jones County Career-Technical Center is “Reaching New Heights in Career and Technical Education.” It serves students in grades 10-12 from Northeast, South, and West Jones High School with a sense of unity and pride. The career tech center offers eight skilled two-year programs where priority is given to second year students and juniors. Placement of all students is based on the number of available openings, grades, conduct, attendance and I.E.P.’s. The Jones County Career-Technical Center is committed to striving for excellence and preparing students to be successful in this ever-changing global society. Services are provided that foster positive relationships between businesses, industry, and community organizations. The career tech center is named in honor of A.P. Fatherree, the father of vocational education in Mississippi.
